Opti Spring Race Series (Saturdays)

The Opti Saturday Race Series will run from 10am-2pm for 8 Saturdays this Spring plus one severe weather date (June 3). We will post scores from each race day and will name an overall winner at the end of the season. This is a rain or shine series - the flat rate applies to the entire season. This is not just an SSA event - This series welcomes anyone that sails Opti’s. Each sailor must have a parent or coach chaperone and must be registered for the series in order to participate. 

This series requires volunteer parents in order to run: Parents of sailors will run the races, including scoring, setting marks and safety/support boats. RC slots must be filled by noon the day before in order to confirm the race day (Friday at 12:00).

Please note, only SSA members are permitted to operate SSA boats.

The Saturday Race Series cost for a Junior Club member, SSA member, or non-member is $75.00.

Opti storage is available for SSA Members (incl. Junior Club) for only $90 - please email office@severnsailing.org or madde@severnsailing.org with storage inquiries.

 *No refunds will be given. We have scheduled one make-up day for inclement weather, but the series fee applies to one or all race days.
