Sandy MacVickar Junior Regatta

The Sandy MacVickar Junior Regatta is open to Opti Green, Opti RWB, C420, FJ, and ILCA fleets. This event is dedicated to a former SSA member that sailed in the Navy and will be a "Clean" Regatta.  We will have space available to store sailboats starting Wednesday, July 5th at 1200 and the boats must be off the lot by Thursday July 6th at 1800.

Opti Green will sail on their own course near Annapolis Harbor, Opti RWB will sail their own course in the Severn River, and FJ's, C420's and ILCA's will share the same course outside the Severn River.  No spectators will be allowed on SSA property during racing unless you are a member of the club.  Please drop off boats, gear, and competitors quickly in order to facilitate an on-time start. There will be no parking allowed on SSA property for non-members. All parking is free on the streets of Eastport.

Coach boats can be launched from Truxton Park and trailers can be left at Truxton Park.  There is a small fee for storage there so be prepared.

If you are participating in the FJ class, you will need to bring a $200.00 damage deposit check (will be refunded if there is no damage).  It is also a $35.00 charter fee to use the boat which is included in the registration.  You MUST be a Junior Club member to use an FJ.  If you are not, we will take you on if you submit a sailing resume. FJ charters are on a first-come/first-serve basis and we will offer a max of 18 boats.
