Sandy MacVickar Junior Regatta

The Sandy MacVickar Junior Regatta is open to C420's, Opti's, and Lasers.  This event is dedicated to a former SSA member, Sandy MacVickar, who was killed in a fire during the Vietnam war while serving on the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal.  We will have space available to store sailboats starting Tuesday July 5th at 1800 and the boats must be off the lot by Wednesday July 7th at 1730.  

Opti Green will sail on their own course, Opti RWB will also have their own course, and C420's and Lasers will sail on the same course.

Coach boats can be launched from Truxton Park and trailers can be left at Truxton Park.  There is a small fee for storage there so be prepared for that.  There is NO LAUNCHING coach boats out of SSA.

Parking on SSA's lot is for MEMBERS ONLY.  You can drop your sailor and their boat off but you cannot keep your car at SSA, this will be a drop and go.  There is plenty of street parking in Eastport for you to park your car.

An additional $20 late fee will go into effect June 27th. 

SSA's snack bar, Broadneck Grille, will be providing on the water lunches for both the AYC/SSA regattas if you are interested in purchasing one of those.  You will need to go to Broadneckgrill.com, go to the 3 lines in the upper right hand corner, go to order online, select "Edgewater", select "Pick-Up", Select "Start Order", Under "Food" swipe left and scroll until you see SSA Bag Lunch and the lunch choices will pop up.
